Mae’s Creole Kitchen is a family owned business established in Charlotte, NC

The founder, Gwen Square was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. At age 11 she learned to cook by watching and assisting her Mother Georgia Mae. By 13 Gwen was planning and preparing family meals every week. By the time Gwen reached age 15 she had already become an established cook, specializing in Louisiana style foods such as seafood gumbo, crawfish etouffee, red beans and rice and many more creole dishes!
